Spicy Ginger Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, sliced

  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 1 tsp arrowroot starch (or cornstarch) mixed with 1 tbsp water

  • 1 cup cooked rice, for serving

  • Sesame seeds & lime wedges for garnish

 

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  2. Add chicken, garlic, ginger, cayenne, and salt. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add soy sauce, honey, red bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.

  4. Pour in arrowroot starch slurry and simmer until thickened, about 1–2 minutes.

  5. Serve over rice, garnished with green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges.
